The city is known for its beautiful Rhine promenade, where there's always something to see, its many convivial breweries, its vibrant nightlife, and its long shopping streets lined with shops and boutiques. There are also many interesting sights and museums and delicious restaurants serving national and international cuisine. In the large squares, you can mingle with a cold Kölsch beer until late into the evening!

Directions A1 / A57
At the Cologne-North interchange, take the A57 towards Cologne City Centre. At the end of the motorway, continue straight ahead towards the city centre. Stay in the right lane and after the first traffic light (at the next traffic light), turn right onto Gladbacher Strasse. Continue straight ahead towards the main station/city centre. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) building (Unter Sachsenhausen) is on the left. Turn right at the traffic light and continue straight ahead. Turn left at the third traffic light and immediately left again onto the one-way street. From there, you will automatically reach the WDR building and drive towards Wallrafplatz. From there, walk right onto Hohe Strasse (approx. 2 minutes/200 metres). The Hotel Callas am Dom is on the right between the HOEGL shoe store and the TOM TAILOR clothing store.

Cologne East Interchange – towards the city center – over the Zoo Bridge – after the Zoo Bridge, turn right – stay in the left-hand lane until you reach a tunnel – turn right towards "Rathaus, Museen" – in the underpass, at the traffic lights, turn half left towards "Rathaus" – after the underpass, at the intersection, follow the signs for the parking garage at the cathedral. From the cathedral square, walk into Hohe Straße (approx. 2 minutes/200 meters). The Hotel Callas am Dom is on the right-hand side, between the HOEGL shoe store and the TOM TAILOR clothing store.
